The princess Infanta is having a birthday. Her friends gather in the impressive palace to celebrate with her. Acrobats, puppets, jugglers, dancers, Gypsies, and bullfighters perform their acts in front of the guests. Suddenly, a dwarf appears on stage. He dances and everyone laughs! The Infanta claps, she is thrilled and wants to keep the dwarf in the palace. The dwarf is happy and wants to show the Infanta the forest. Until in a large hall of the palace, the dwarf sees a mirror and, not knowing what it is, stands in front of it.
