I bought this glue to repair a small Intex pool with a capacity of about 1700 liters. It had been folded and stored in a shed in the garden, and probably mice made 14 small holes in the material. The pool is made of a soft, flexible laminated PVC (="vinyl") and must withstand significant pressure from the water.

At first I was skeptical, because I had read in reviews for other similar PVC glues, especially for such pools, that they do not do a good job. But the reviews from other users for this BISON product gave me hope that it would work well in my case too.

And I was not disappointed! It worked perfectly. Before I started, I cleaned the pool with dish soap, let it dry, marked the holes, and then cleaned the spots on both sides with pure alcohol. I cut the patches from the included PVC sheet, rounded the corners with scissors, and then applied the glue to both the patch and the hole. I let them dry for 5 minutes. Then, I stuck the patch on the outside of the pool, pressed it well for a few seconds, and finally dripped a drop of glue on the inside of the hole as well. I did this in the afternoon and left it to dry outside, in the early summer heat, all night. The next day I filled the pool and now, about 14 days later, it remains perfectly watertight!

The process is reminiscent of repairing a bicycle inner tube – the glue fuses the patch with the material. The tube was enough to glue 14 patches and there is enough left for another 2-3. I would buy it again without a second thought if I needed it.
