The camera does what it says. It's nothing amazing, nor does it "help" in any way with driving, it's just a gimmick to impress your friends. The only thing I have found extremely useful is the notification for a stopped car in front, which one day, after installing the ADAS (see below), saved me from a collision because I was distracted and the camera saw the stopped car in front and started beeping. The rest of the warnings are not necessary, I recommend this particular one!
As for the ADAS, I'm mentioning it here because it is answered in the Questions, but it took me a month to find it...!
After installing the camera and attempting to upgrade, there is a chance it will give you an error with the message "the program seems unusual, be about to exit". There are several methods on the internet that you can try, but the one that worked for me is to make a copy of the application on a USB stick and copy it to your computer. From there, install it on an Android Emulator (BlueStacks, Nox, etc. - I did it with Nox) and go through the upgrade process. If the installation is successful, long press on the application icon and select "Export apk" and this will save the updated application as an apk file on your computer. Transfer it to the USB and then to your android unit in the car and install it.

Something I should have known before getting the camera but learned along the way. The camera records CONTINUOUSLY! Without needing to have the application open. I had heard about "camera black box" but I didn't expect it to work like this. In the event of an accident (whether it's your fault or happened in front of you), the camera will have recorded it (as long as the engine is on and the camera is receiving power, it doesn't record with the engine off - duh).
And not only that! If you happen to pass through a nice place, you can find the video afterwards and keep it. If you lend the car or leave it somewhere for service or anything, you can see what was happening while the car was in operation. Overall, a very convenient and useful gadget!! I highly recommend it! Υπάρχουν στο internet αρκετές μέθοδοι που μπορείτε να δοκιμάσετε αλλά αυτή που δούλεψε για εμένα είναι να κάνετε ένα αντίγραφο της εφαρμογής σε ένα USB stick και να το αντιγράψετε στον υπολογιστή σας. Από εκεί, καν'τε το εγκατάσταση σε έναν Android Emulator (BlueStacks, Nox κλπ -εγώ το έκανα με Nox-) και κάν'τε τη διαδικασία upgrade. Αν γίνει και ολοκληρωθεί η εγκατάσταση, με long press πάνω στο εικονίδιο της εφαρμογής επιλέξτε "Export apk" και αυτό θα αποθηκεύσει την ενημερωμένη εφαρμογή ως apk αρχείο στον υπολογιστή σας. Το περνάτε στο USB και μετά στο android Unit σας στο αυτοκίνητο και κανετε εγκατάσταση.
Με ταλαιπωρούσε κάνα μήνα αυτό το πράγμα.

Κάτι που έπρεπε να το ξέρω πριν πάρω την κάμερα αλλά το έμαθα στην πορεία. Η κάμερα καταγράφει ΣΥΝΕΧΕΙΑ! Χωρίς να χρειάζεται να έχεις την εφαρμογή ανοιχτή. Είχα ακούσε για "camera black box" αλλά δεν περίμενα ότι κι αυτή δουλεύει έτσι. Σε περίπτωση ατυχήματος (είτε δικό σας, είτε να έγινε μπροστά σας) η κάμερα θα το έχει καταγράψει (εφόσον η μηχανή είναι αναμένη και πέρνει ρεύμα η κάμερα, με σβηστή μηχανή δεν καταγράφει -duh-).
Και όχι μόνο! Αν τύχει και περάσετε από ένα ωραίο μέρος, μπορείτε εκ των υστέρων να βρείτε το video και να το κρατήσετε. Αν δανείσετε το αυτοκίνητο ή το αφήσετε κάπου για service ή οτιδήποτε, μπορείτε να δειτε τι συνέβαινε όσο το αυτοκίνητο ήταν σε λειτουργία. Γενικότερα, πολύ βολικό και χρήσιμο gadgetάκι!! Υπόψιν, αποθηκεύει βιντεο του ενος λεπτου που πιανουν 160mb το καθε ενα αρα θελει γρήγορη μνημη και γρηγορο card reader.
Edit. Μετα απο 2 χρόνια χρειάστηκε να δω ενα βίντεο και η μνήμη είχε γίνει corrupt. Μπορει να φταίει η μνήμη ή η κάμερα. Το θεμα ειναι πως δεν ειχα καποιο τροπο να το καταλάβω απο πριν, επίσης όταν έσβηνα το αμάξι η κάμερα σταματούσε απότομα (δεν εχει μπαταρια) και δεν αποθηκεύει τα τελευταία δευτερόλεπτα, αρα σε περίπτωση ατυχήματος που θα σβήσει το αμάξι ειναι άχρηστη. Η αντίστοιχη 70 mai - xiaomi που έχει μπαταρία, πρωτα αποθηκεύει το βίντεο και μετά σβήνει. Και μια φορά που έγινε παλι corrupt η κάρτα μου το ειπε με ηχητικό μήνυμα. Βέβαια μιλάμε για κάμερα που ειναι στο 100αρικο, αλλα οτι πληρώνεις παίρνεις.

The camera does what it says. It's nothing amazing, nor does it "help" in any way with driving, it's just a gimmick to impress your friends. The only thing I have found extremely useful is the notification for a stopped car in front, which one day, after installing the ADAS (see below), saved me from a collision because I was distracted and the camera saw the stopped car in front and started beeping. The rest of the warnings are not necessary, I recommend this particular one!
As for the ADAS, I'm mentioning it here because it is answered in the Questions, but it took me a month to find it...!
After installing the camera and attempting to upgrade, there is a chance it will give you an error with the message "the program seems unusual, be about to exit". There are several methods on the internet that you can try, but the one that worked for me is to make a copy of the application on a USB stick and copy it to your computer. From there, install it on an Android Emulator (BlueStacks, Nox, etc. - I did it with Nox) and go through the upgrade process. If the installation is successful, long press on the application icon and select "Export apk" and this will save the updated application as an apk file on your computer. Transfer it to the USB and then to your android unit in the car and install it.
This thing bothered me for about a month.

Something I should have known before getting the camera but learned along the way. The camera records CONTINUOUSLY! Without needing to have the application open. I had heard about "camera black box" but I didn't expect it to work like this. In the event of an accident (whether it's your fault or happened in front of you), the camera will have recorded it (as long as the engine is on and the camera is receiving power, it doesn't record with the engine off - duh).
And not only that! If you happen to pass through a nice place, you can find the video afterwards and keep it. If you lend the car or leave it somewhere for service or anything, you can see what was happening while the car was in operation. Overall, a very convenient and useful gadget!! I highly recommend it! Υπάρχουν στο internet αρκετές μέθοδοι που μπορείτε να δοκιμάσετε αλλά αυτή που δούλεψε για εμένα είναι να κάνετε ένα αντίγραφο της εφαρμογής σε ένα USB stick και να το αντιγράψετε στον υπολογιστή σας. Από εκεί, καν'τε το εγκατάσταση σε έναν Android Emulator (BlueStacks, Nox κλπ -εγώ το έκανα με Nox-) και κάν'τε τη διαδικασία upgrade. Αν γίνει και ολοκληρωθεί η εγκατάσταση, με long press πάνω στο εικονίδιο της εφαρμογής επιλέξτε "Export apk" και αυτό θα αποθηκεύσει την ενημερωμένη εφαρμογή ως apk αρχείο στον υπολογιστή σας. Το περνάτε στο USB και μετά στο android Unit σας στο αυτοκίνητο και κανετε εγκατάσταση.
Με ταλαιπωρούσε κάνα μήνα αυτό το πράγμα.

Κάτι που έπρεπε να το ξέρω πριν πάρω την κάμερα αλλά το έμαθα στην πορεία. Η κάμερα καταγράφει ΣΥΝΕΧΕΙΑ! Χωρίς να χρειάζεται να έχεις την εφαρμογή ανοιχτή. Είχα ακούσε για "camera black box" αλλά δεν περίμενα ότι κι αυτή δουλεύει έτσι. Σε περίπτωση ατυχήματος (είτε δικό σας, είτε να έγινε μπροστά σας) η κάμερα θα το έχει καταγράψει (εφόσον η μηχανή είναι αναμένη και πέρνει ρεύμα η κάμερα, με σβηστή μηχανή δεν καταγράφει -duh-).
Και όχι μόνο! Αν τύχει και περάσετε από ένα ωραίο μέρος, μπορείτε εκ των υστέρων να βρείτε το video και να το κρατήσετε. Αν δανείσετε το αυτοκίνητο ή το αφήσετε κάπου για service ή οτιδήποτε, μπορείτε να δειτε τι συνέβαινε όσο το αυτοκίνητο ήταν σε λειτουργία. Γενικότερα, πολύ βολικό και χρήσιμο gadgetάκι!! Συνηστώ 100%! (+1 αστεράκι στη βαθμολογία μου!)

Υπόψιν, αποθηκεύει βιντεο του ενος λεπτου που πιανουν 160mb το καθε ενα αρα θελει γρήγορη μνημη και γρηγορο card reader.
Edit. Μετα απο 2 χρόνια χρειάστηκε να δω ενα βίντεο και η μνήμη είχε γίνει corrupt. Μπορει να φταίει η μνήμη ή η κάμερα. Το θεμα ειναι πως δεν ειχα καποιο τροπο να το καταλάβω απο πριν, επίσης όταν έσβηνα το αμάξι η κάμερα σταματούσε απότομα (δεν εχει μπαταρια) και δεν αποθηκεύει τα τελευταία δευτερόλεπτα, αρα σε περίπτωση ατυχήματος που θα σβήσει το αμάξι ειναι άχρηστη. Η αντίστοιχη 70 mai - xiaomi που έχει μπαταρία, πρωτα αποθηκεύει το βίντεο και μετά σβήνει. Και μια φορά που έγινε παλι corrupt η κάρτα μου το ειπε με ηχητικό μήνυμα. Βέβαια μιλάμε για κάμερα που ειναι στο 100αρικο, αλλα οτι πληρώνεις παίρνεις.
