Description

You can use the Tommee Tippee natural silicone breast pump for exclusive pumping, in combination with the breast pump of your choice, even while breastfeeding by placing it on the opposite side. It is easy to wash and sterilize. BPA-free.

The package includes:

One travel sterilizer bag, suitable for use in a microwave.
The sterilizer bag is a safe, quick, and practical way to sterilize and transport breast pumps and accessories outside the home. The bag can hold up to two Close to Nature / Advanced and Anti Colic bottles or one manual breast pump or two silicone breast pumps (only the washable parts).

Procedure:

Wash all parts with soap and warm water and then rinse them well. Put 60ml of water in the sterilizer bag, using a bottle. Close the zip up to the stop so that there is a 5cm gap for the steam. Place the sterilizer bag upright in the center of the microwave. Turn it on at low power. Let the bag cool before removing it and wear a glove before handling it. Any remaining water at the bottom of the bag can be emptied by holding the bag from the cool corner. The parts remain sterile for 24 hours, provided the zip of the package is closed. After each use, mark a box on the package, as you can use it up to 30 times. Rinse the bag with warm water and soap after each sterilization.

      I got it as an alternative solution to the electric breast pump I already had and as a cheaper option compared to other similar pumps (e.g. Haakaa). It suctions onto the breast and essentially collects milk. It doesn't work like manual or electric breast pumps. It can be used simultaneously with breastfeeding, on the breast where the baby is not nursing, or to collect a little milk and relieve breast congestion. It takes practice to position it, and for that reason, I deducted one star as I managed to put it on after several attempts. It is very easy to clean and sterilize. For its price, I recommend it!
