Tested for a month now with Polaroid Now+. The color one. Out of the 88 photos, I can say that only 11-12 are very beautiful in terms of colors, etc. Of course, I like all of them as they have that vintage look, but only 11-12 I would say are flawless. Also, for a few (4-5) of the not-so-good ones, I would say it was probably a mix of the camera's "mistakes" and mine. They were the first ones I took, so yes, there would be some issues. If you have the same camera and you take brighter photos, try taking them outdoors without flash, with the sun behind you, and you might need to play with the exposure compensation a bit (it should be in the middle, so go one step down). I think the colors from the 600 film came out nicer for me. Things change when I start playing with the app and the modes it has. Especially with light painting, manual, there this film will give good results.

On the other hand, I have taken around 23 black and white photos, all during the day, from 12:00 to 18:00 when the sun was still strong, and except for 3 (my fault), the others are very beautiful. For some reason, the i-type bw seems to be better.

In the photos where I used the yellow filter on the lens, I had very nice results with both films.

I kept them in the refrigerator. I took them out about 40 minutes before going to the beach (along with the route and finding a place to sit, etc., they are ready to use in an hour). If the boat doesn't have air conditioning, one solution is to keep them in a small cooler. Personally, I put them in the same bag as the beers :D

However... for over 100 photos (color and black and white) that we took... the cost is simply not worth it. A lot of money, okay some may say it gives a vintage look, but they still need work. Both the cameras and the films. If you think that in the beginning you might "burn" some, then... having only 8 photos per cassette is very expensive. Maybe buying directly from the company's website is more cost-effective.

And it's a bit sad that besides the black and white ones that I kept, I had to give away all the others. Meaning, we had to pose 2-3 times for each couple to get their own photo. In my opinion, either go for instax mini (but no, it's not polaroid, yes, the images are prettier and cleaner, but small!) or if your camera has an app, start learning it inside out to get the best possible results. For the now+, the app works wonders!

Otherwise, remember the classic instructions for this film. Refrigerator. Lay the box flat. Take it out one hour before. Be careful with too much heat. As soon as the photo comes out, remove it from the cover after 4-5 seconds and put it in a pocket on your body if it's winter or in a cool place if it's very hot. I got a small bag from outside for my instax (unfortunately, it's not available anywhere on skroutz) that attaches to the strap and I put them inside, it happens to fit the polaroids too. CAUTION, for up to a month, DO NOT put them in an album with plastic sleeves as the film is still developing. Keep the packaging box and store them inside.
