I bought a Sea Doo GTI in 2005. I loved it from the first moment. I only used it for 3-4 months during the summer. Until 2009, I only replaced the battery once with an aftermarket one for 20 Euros because it started to last only one hour after two hours. Absolutely nothing else... I'm not an engineer but I took care of it. Because in the 5 years it loosened a bit in the opening and closing, I put a little Vaseline in the closure to make it watertight... In 2015, without any problems, I replaced another battery for 22 Euros... In 2019, it took in some water and stopped working... I decided to open it up to the last screw... A friend who is an electrician repaired the controller board that got wet and burned a chip after 15 summers... In 2021, the water was more frequent, so it completely burned the board, which could no longer be repaired. I solved it again, completely removed the board, and made it work ON-OFF at least... I was happy because it was the ultimate solution... Unfortunately, in September 2022, due to water damage as the Vaseline was no longer enough, the motor burned out... Maybe I'll find a solution for replacement and repair it again. Divide its current price, which is almost the same as the price in 2005, by 18 years that it lasted and the countless beautiful moments it offered me, it seems like the best summer purchase!!! Even though I have grown up, I will buy another one!!!

I have it for 2 years and I have no problem. However, it requires a lot of attention in the closing with great detail in the sealing, given that I am a technician and it fits my hand. I consider it a sensitive tool, so think about it carefully...

In me it didn't take water, it is completely waterproof and the lead battery lasts for 1 hour. If we put a lipo, the results will be spectacular. The problem is in the reducer (gears) it left me at a depth of 4 meters, luckily it happened when I dived.

I have purchased the GTI model from an official representative. It has broken down twice and I have to send it for repair. It takes 2-3 months to receive it back and I am charged for shipping because it is sent to England for repair. The first time it cost me 25 euros, the second time 45 euros, and now it has broken down for the third time. In total, it has not been continuously used for more than 3 months, with a frequency of 2 times per week. The warranty is about to expire, so the conclusions are up to you.

I have bought one of these. And it started leaking on me too. It requires great attention when closing. Perhaps the company should offer some kind of lesson on what the user should pay attention to in order to close it well and airtight.

From the moment it starts leaking water, it's good for throwing away. I paid a lot for repairs [changing burnt plates, gaskets], and it still leaks water and the motor burned out [another 120 euros]. I'm afraid it will burn out again since the gaskets they replaced didn't seal it properly. The representative is polite and willing, but the technicians didn't do anything for me
