The generation of Resistance lived and acted with the hope of a future social happiness. Between the personal and the political, the individual and the collective interest, it prioritized the greater good.

The most massive and dynamic appearance of women in the Resistance occurs precisely during the bloodiest phase of the Occupation. It is the period when organizations adopt mobilizations and demonstrations held exclusively by women as a means of struggle. At this stage, groups of female fighters are formed, and women take on dangerous or 'masculine' duties.
