Throughout 1876, F. M. Dostoevsky diligently continued to write and self-publish his "Writer's Diary." The success he experienced among the public, the reviews published by other magazines, and the author's polemics on certain pressing issues of the time gave him the courage to persevere.

In the issues of the magazine included in this second volume of the Greek translation, the Greek reader will follow the author's thoughts on foreign policy issues, especially regarding the famous "Eastern Question," as well as cases of police and judicial interest, where F. M. Dostoevsky reveals his inner world and deeper moral principles, supporting views that, in several instances, contradicted public opinion.
