The intention of this small book is to contribute to the discussion for a radical revision of the "framework law" for higher education (Law 1268/82), which should not be limited to fragmented regulations and half-measures, as is the case now.

The initial core of the book consists of seven articles published in Kathimerini in the spring of 1983, before a year had even passed since the vote on the "framework law." Unfortunately, they remain relevant (and unanswered). They could even be described as "prophetic" if it weren't easy for anyone to make the same observations and predictions back then.
