I'm not sure about its reliability, but I can say that in consecutive measurements I made on myself, the reading is stable, which means it doesn't show random results. Good construction. It doesn't need to be. My evaluation is for the model MD300C29. While I ordered the MD300C11, I received the MD300C29.
