Gemma hyacinth bulbs bloom in spring, usually 2–2.5 months after planting. They can be planted in flower beds, pots or special water vases, indoors or outdoors.
Plant from September to the end of November, with the tip of the bulb facing upwards. They need a sunny spot sheltered from strong winds and well-drained soil. Wearing gloves when planting is recommended, as contact with bare skin may cause an allergic reaction.
