It is an affordable backpack, good for the money it asks for. It is bigger than it appears in the pictures, convenient for a daypack that will carry snacks, water bottles, clothes, etc. It has two compartments (a small front one and a large central one) that are useful for basic item organization. For the small child (2nd grade), it seems somewhat big.
Comfortable but thin shoulder straps, large and easy-to-use zippers (with cord pullers), minimal padding on the back and bottom. It seems relatively durable and they say that the material is waterproof, but I don't have an opinion yet on either of the two.
I got it for my children's activities (in two colors) and so far I am satisfied. However, I would not recommend it for a school backpack and generally for everyday extended use.
