- To hydrate them, open the packaging and fill the jar with lukewarm water. The mushrooms should be fully covered with water.
- Alternatively, you can soak the mushrooms in broth, wine, or brandy to give them more flavor.
- Once hydrated and softened, remove them from the jar and squeeze out excess water with your hands.
- Sauté the mushrooms on high heat for 2-3 minutes and deglaze with 1/2 glass of dry wine.
- Add salt and pepper and serve.
- Make a sauce by adding cream or tomato and simmer for 15 minutes.
- You can add the sautéed mushrooms to any stew 15 minutes before the end.
