Product report

Description & Specifications

Royal Talens Extra Fine tempera paint is gouache with a high pigment concentration and a matte finish. Its dextrin base gives it a smooth consistency and reduces surface gloss, while the paint provides immediate coverage without requiring a second coat.

Adding water makes the paint thinner and slightly transparent. It can be used to create uniform matte surfaces without visible brushstrokes and smooth colour transitions. Once dry, it is not waterproof and can be reworked with water. It is used by designers, graphic artists, illustrators and students.
