Designed in Montebelluna, the cradle of alpine footwear craftsmanship, the MTN Trainer 2 is a durable and flexible low-cut shoe, made of high-quality 1.6mm suede leather and featuring an external Vibram sole. Its sturdy upper has a full rubber protective rand for 360° friction resistance on rocky terrain, as well as a GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining for durable waterproofing and enhanced breathability. The improved construction is 15% lighter and more flexible than the original, ensuring a comfortable fit, while the expanded PU midsole provides long-lasting shock absorption and rebound. The versatile Vibram outsole offers flexibility and stability on challenging surfaces. Its deep, self-cleaning lugs and protrusions guarantee good grip on rock and cliff, and optimal traction on mud and grass. Beneath the midsole, a special via ferrata zone features specific rectangular protrusions that maximize the force exerted through the foot for better grip on steps than a conventional shoe. Our 3F system connects the area of the foot with the sole and heel for flexibility, proper fit, and support. A soft OrthoLite footbed wicks away moisture, helping your feet stay cool. The MTN Trainer 2 is made in Europe and offers the perfect solution for alpine approaches, via ferratas, and hikes in all conditions and remote terrains.
