In 1996 I paint the wood in my house Railings, pergolas, furniture with impregnation varnishes every 2 years!! For the last 20 years I have ended up painting with DUROXYL!!! In Crete, due to the intense sunlight, few varnishes can withstand such high temperatures!!! After trying 5 different brands of varnishes, only DUROXYL can withstand it!! 28 years and all the wood remains in very good condition!!!

It is cheap but very diluted with solvent. As soon as you open it, it smells more like solvent and not varnish. I only used it for the first coat of soaking. For the final pass, I used another top brand with double the price.
