The Tower of Hanoi consists of three rods and five discs of different sizes. The game starts with the discs stacked in order of size on one rod, with the smallest on top. The goal is to move the entire stack to another rod. The rule is that only one disc can be moved at a time, and a larger disc cannot be placed on a smaller one. The Tower of Hanoi develops various skills, primarily problem-solving. This puzzle was invented by the French mathematician Édouard Lucas in 1883. It is also known by the names Lucas Tower and Brahma's Tower.
