This volume brings together five studies, both published and unpublished, from the last two years of the author's research inquiries.

They cover a broad range of dramaturgical and theatrical topics: contemporary thoughts and positions on a theory of theatrical translation, the differentiation of the angelic utterance in Shakespeare's tragedies, the unpublished religious drama "Herod or the Massacre of the Innocents" from the Cyclades during the Counter-Reformation, methodological reflections, and historical sources of 18th and 19th-century Greek theater.
