In this particular case, I give it 4 stars because for the sound quality-size-volume ratio, the price should be max at €60. Nice speaker, easy to use, yet overpriced.

Overall, I am a fan of JBL and its speakers. They are always reliable, etc. (words are unnecessary to describe how good they are). However, what I have to say is that perhaps the JBL Charge is worth more, as it offers greater autonomy and noticeable sound difference for a relatively small price difference, at least that's what I believe

The battery failed after minimal and proper use within 2 years and now does not work outside of the socket.

This fantastic speaker is worth every penny, 100%. I had the JBL Go 3 and there's a big difference. Just get it, don't even think twice if you have the money.

I received it two days ago. My impressions are:
The sound was relatively good (good in the highs but not so much in the bass). However, at some point when I googled, I saw that by pressing the bluetooth button together with (-) for 10 seconds, it goes into LOUDNESS mode. Then the sound and bass really skyrocketed. Many may not know this because the manual does not mention this function.
The LOUDNESS function, both on this speaker and on the amplifiers I have (Kenwood & Yamaha), continue as before just after the middle of the volume. That's why we have the bass reduction. That's how the function works. The speaker is really good!

Some tips for those who haven't decided yet.
1) This device has a feature called Low Frequency Mode which can be activated/deactivated by simultaneously pressing the power button and the - volume button for a few seconds. When this feature is off, you have a very clear sound and moderate bass. If you activate it, the bass goes... to the sky, making necessary "discounts" in sound quality.
2) Download an Equalizer app on your phone, the sound quality you will have will be on another level! Personally, I tried the free Bass Booster for android and I was very satisfied.

Advantages:
- Clear Sound
- Very nice bass
- Full Waterproof
- The battery lasts a long time

Disadvantages:
- Price. However, you get what you pay for.

A great product to have outside while listening to your own music, just connect it to multiple devices and it will automatically connect to other devices instead of yours once they are disconnected.

After using the Flip 4 for 3 years on sunny beaches, I upgraded to the Flip 5 and am very satisfied with my purchase. I connected it with a friend's Flip 5 on the beach and the sound was incredible. Both played so smoothly without any delays. I highly recommend it for trips and as a speaker for outdoor spaces and beach rooms, etc.

For the 74€ I bought it for, I think it's the best in its category. Quality Jbl with clear sound, strong bass, and sturdy construction. It's also waterproof up to 1 meter depth, although I haven't tested it yet.

Personally, I have been very satisfied with this particular speaker. Although I have never had anything similar before. It is very durable and particularly well-made.
Its sound is very clear, even at maximum volume, with perhaps the only drawback being its bass. It is not very powerful, but at least it is satisfactory.
As for its battery, I easily believe it covers even the most demanding user.

Well, I've had it for a year... The speaker has played countless hours as I take it everywhere when I go to the beach, when I play basketball, etc!! Its sound is amazing for such a small speaker... It has everything - quality, bass, battery life!!!! If I could say one negative thing, it would be that it cannot connect to older flip devices to play all at once through synchronization.

Good and clean sound, decent bass for its size...it "fills up" my living room. Simply put, the Charge 4 that I heard from a friend today has a stronger bass, but it also costs 50 euros more...so for its price, it's definitely value for money...!!!

P.S. 1) The first full charge lasted...13 hours...!!
P.S. 2) At high volume...up to 80%...everything is fine...after that...it distorts a little. Of course, this applies to all speakers.

I have had it for 2 years and have dropped it in water about 5 times and it hasn't suffered any damage. The only thing that has happened is that it has lost color in one spot, but it's very small. Besides that, the speaker is perfect and worth it fully.

Very strong sound indoors with good bass, a bit weak for outdoor use, but expected. One of the very positive aspects is its battery life, as with daily use I only need to charge it once every 15 days or so. The negative aspect is, of course, the fact that JBL has changed the patent it uses for connecting its speakers, so the JBL Flip 5 will not connect to older JBL speakers, only to the new generation ones.

Very good sound and bass, but the only issue with these speakers is that sometimes they don't turn on and require a reset. Overall, they offer great value for money.

We arrived at a point where a small speaker produced the same sound that an entire stereo used to produce in the past. It was a bit tinny, but of good quality.

So I've had the speaker for 5 months now and I have to say it's absolutely amazing. It's incredibly powerful and clear, with better and deeper bass than the flip 4. I heard a lot of reviews saying it's one of the worst JBL speakers, and I was really skeptical about it. BUT I SAY IT'S WORTH IT AND THEN SOME. It's a speaker that lasts through the years and doesn't distort, it's more powerful than an average sound system and very portable. IT'S WORTH IT, PERIOD.

In the three days that I've been using it, it seems perfect to me! I can't believe that this little thing produces such a sound!

Very good for vacations and normal use.
The battery is immortal and will last you almost all day on moderate intensity.
The sound intensity and quality are very satisfactory for its size.
Connectivity is good although BT 3.0 would be welcome.
Waterproof with a strap to take it fishing.

The speaker is fine! When you turn up the volume, the quality deteriorates as usual. Also, I expected a slightly deeper sound, especially compared to the JBL go mini.

We start with the basic characteristic, based on which the analysis is done: I got it at the price of 70€. The sound is excellent, clear throughout the volume spectrum (more studio-like), which I liked a lot compared to other speakers (absence of white noise). Excellent bass. The size is great as an 8-year-old can hold it (in my case) for hours without complaining. I already have the JBL Flip 4, and I was wondering whether to go for the Flip 5 or the Charge 4. The slightly better sound performance of the Flip 5, combined with the 50% higher price of the Charge 4, as well as my lack of interest in the non-connectivity of the Flip 4 with the Flip 5, led me to the Flip 5. Flawless for the price of 70€.

At first, when I turned it up to the maximum volume, there was some "distortion" in the sound that you couldn't ignore... However, it soon disappeared and since then I've just enjoyed it. It plays very loudly and has relatively good battery life, although when playing music at maximum volume, the battery does drain faster (which is understandable). It's lightweight, I've taken it to the beach, thrown it around and even in the sea (although I know it's not allowed in saltwater) and it's still going strong! I've really enjoyed this purchase. Thumbs up from me...

Powerful sound without cracking or distortion even when turned up to 100%. The cylindrical shape is very convenient as it stands upright and is easy to hold. The bass is moderate and not as noticeable as in the Sony XB22 which has a deeper sound. The Type C port is very helpful as it allows for one cable to be used for both the speaker and mobile device. It weighs half a kilogram and is perfect for taking to the beach without being too heavy. The louder volumes are bulky. I bought it for the beach and for playing loud music during barbecues so we can dance outside.
