Blue Light Reduction up to 80%
In the visible light spectrum, blue light has a wavelength that is adjacent to ultraviolet light. Compared to the factory preset of 6,500 K for typical LCD monitors, the “Paper Mode” setting is closer to the spectral distribution of longer red wavelengths, which reduces the amount of blue light and therefore prevents eye fatigue, especially when the user is reading document files. When used in combination with the Auto EcoView dimming function, blue light can be reduced by up to 80%.
Flicker-Free Display
Due to the way brightness is controlled in LED backlighting, a small percentage of users notice a "flicker" on their screen, which causes additional eye fatigue. The FlexScan EV2760 model uses a hybrid solution to adjust brightness and make the flicker imperceptible, without any distortion or change in color stability – even when the brightness is very low.
