The OZ steam iron descaler removes the limescale that accumulates in your steam iron, making ironing easier and simultaneously increasing the lifespan of the appliance. By using the OZ steam iron descaler, you can even prevent the steam outlets from clogging due to limescale.
- Dissolve four tablespoons of the descaler in a glass of water (about 20ml) and pour the solution into the water tank of the steam iron, which should be cold and unplugged.
- Heat the steam iron to the maximum temperature and steam setting, and wait for all the water to evaporate.
- Unplug the steam iron, let it cool down, and fill it with clean water.
- Heat the steam iron again to the maximum temperature and steam setting, and wait for the water to evaporate, pressing the spray button at intervals.
- Unplug the steam iron, let it cool down, and finally clean the soleplate of the steam iron with a damp cloth.
