Description

The board game The Castles of Burgundy is a strategic game set in medieval Burgundy, where players develop their estates by placing settlement tiles on their personal boards. Actions are determined by dice rolls and include acquiring and placing tiles, delivering goods and taking workers, while the tiles offer various benefits and victory points. The player with the most victory points after completing the five phases wins.

Players can build settlements and castles, develop trade, mine silver and benefit from travellers’ knowledge. The 20th Anniversary edition includes eight expansions, one of which is new to this edition.
