Individual elements feature a multi-layer coating to control flare and ghosting, enhancing contrast and color accuracy in strong lighting conditions.

A DC motor provides fast and accurate autofocus performance, while a dedicated AF/MF switch allows quick switching between focusing modes. A distance scale is also integrated into the lens barrel for precise manual focus.

The seven-blade diaphragm contributes to a smooth bokeh quality.

The integrated USB port allows for firmware updates of the lens.

The chromed metal lens mount is durable and precise, ensuring a secure fit with the camera body, while the gold-plated contacts help ensure consistent communication between the lens and camera.
