WATER-BASED PROTECTIVE AND DECORATIVE WOOD VARNISH

Water-based protective and decorative wood varnish for interior and exterior surfaces. Due to its special formulation, it effectively prevents the growth of mold and fungi on its film. It highlights the grain of the wood, revealing its natural beauty. It easily penetrates and deeply impregnates the wood, protecting it from moisture and UV radiation.

Application surfaces: Suitable for interior and exterior surfaces. Where it is used: On all wooden constructions, interior & exterior, doors, windows, pergolas. Shades: Pine, Light Walnut, Teak, Mahogany, Oregon, Chestnut, Oak, Ebony, Walnut, Dark, Wenge, Cherry. Coverage: 12 – 16 square meters per liter / coat. 2 coats required on new surfaces. Surface preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry, free from resin, oil, or old varnishes. On new wooden surfaces, Diaxyl Water-Based colorless preservative or Diaxyl Extra for protection against fungi and insects is applied. Application: The product is well stirred before use. It is applied in one or two coats with a brush, roller, or spray gun without thinning. It should not be applied at temperatures lower than 5°C, higher than 35°C and/or relative humidity above 80% or when the wood moisture exceeds 18%. The product is touch dry in 1-2 hours and recoatable after 10-12 hours. Once fully dry, Lussolac Water-Based varnish or Marelac Water-Based varnish can be applied. These times vary depending on weather conditions (relative humidity and temperature). The final shade depends on the natural color and absorbency of the wood, as well as the number of coats of Diaxyl Decor Water-Based. Tools are cleaned immediately after use with water and if necessary with soap or detergent.
