Berling ILMA PU surface varnish is a water-based, one-component product made with acrylic and polyurethane resins. It is designed for wooden floors, stairs, countertops, furniture and wall paneling, indoors and outdoors, and can be applied to new or previously painted wood. It leaves a transparent film that enhances the wood grain and does not yellow or alter the color of painted surfaces.
It is resistant to impacts, abrasion, mild cleaning products and household stains, while retaining its flexibility. It provides UV protection with HALS, adheres strongly to wooden surfaces, and is almost odorless with low slip resistance. It can be recoated after 3 hours, and reaches full resistance after at least 7 days.
