Vitex Metallico emulsion paint is water-based and formulated with special acrylic resins and metallic pigments to create a metallic finish. It can be applied to interior and exterior surfaces, such as walls, ceilings and plasterboard, as well as wood, plastic or metal after suitable preparation. It has a low odour during application and contains no ammonia, aromatic hydrocarbons, free formaldehyde, heavy metals or alkylphenol ethoxylates.
Stir well before use and apply in two coats with a roller, brush or airless spray gun, diluting with up to 10% water. Do not apply at temperatures below 5 °C or above 35 °C, or at relative humidity above 80%. It is touch-dry in 1–2 hours and can be recoated after 6–8 hours, depending on weather conditions. Clean painted surfaces with a soft sponge and water. For stubborn stains, a mild, colourless detergent may be used after at least three weeks. Clean tools immediately after use with water and, if necessary, soap or detergent.
