The Icy Dock ToughArmor MB601M2K-1B enclosure installs an M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD in an external 3.5″ bay and allows it to be replaced without restarting the system. It supports drives measuring 30 mm, 42 mm, 60 mm, 80 mm, and 110 mm, with data transfer speeds of up to 32 Gb/s.

The metal construction features an integrated heatsink and ventilation for passive cooling. The two-piece lock, Eagle-Hook mechanism, EMI grounding, and AVT anti-vibration technology help protect the drive. APT technology powers off the device when no drive is installed.
