The Posca PC-5M paint marker has a 2.5 mm round tip and writes in red. Its opaque, highly covering ink is water-soluble while wet, so it can be diluted or blended to create gradients. It dries quickly, allowing layers to be applied without smudging.

It writes on paper, plastic, glass, metal and fabric. The ink is resistant to light, water and abrasion, as well as odorless and non-toxic. Before use, shake the marker with the cap on, then press the tip onto scrap paper until it fills with ink.
