Himalayan salt has been crystallizing for the last 250 million years under intense tectonic pressure, in an environment with zero exposure to toxins, impurities, and pollutants.

Both pink Himalayan salt and sea salt are primarily composed of sodium chloride. The sodium chloride content in Himalayan salt is lower, but with a very small difference from sea salt. Himalayan salt contains:
