In conjunction with the broader developments, the decisive role of the KKE (Communist Party of Greece) in the formation and conduct of the EAM - ELAS struggle in the area is highlighted. The events emphasize that class struggle and conflict have not ceased for a moment.

In an effort to capture the actions of the fighters of the EAM Resistance in the area, the author reached out to these fighters and dozens of others in the villages, regardless of their current political stance, so that the truth, the new history of the people, which was written with blood, pain, and tears in the ruins of Servia, is not buried, and to prevent it from being rewritten by individuals who were absent and may intentionally wish to distort the historical truth while self-promoting.
