The HD400 is the extremely affordable way to clean up your act quickly and easily! Whether you are recording or performing, it is important to avoid mixing in AC hum. Regardless of the quality of the venue's wiring, the MICROHD HD400 Hum Destroyer eliminates AC hum quickly and reliably.

Mighty Hum Hunter

The HD400 features two channels that allow you to eliminate hum in two mono signals or one stereo signal. By placing the HD400 in series between the stereo mixer and power amplifiers, you achieve a clean sound without AC hum. It safely breaks ground loops while maintaining the highest sound quality. It can even convert your unbalanced signals to balanced without signal degradation.

    I use the Behringer UCA222 USB audio interface on my PC and it caused the well-known ground loop. I couldn't figure out what was causing it, as it doesn't happen on other machines like the Mac Mini G4. So, I added a Toslink to RCA converter to the line out and used this hum destroyer for the line in, and now I have no more parasites at all! The connections are in a mixer and I couldn't make recordings with clean sound. If you hear sounds like the PC working on an output in a mixer, amplifier, or studio monitors, this will solve your problem! It also fixed the same problem with the electric guitar pedalboard passing ground loop parasites from the PC

    Excellent job, with very small losses in quality/volume, from this miraculous and economical little box!!
    As soon as I connected it, all the... glitches were gone!
    Anyone who has the same/similar noise as what is heard in the attached file will obviously solve their problem.
    With every reservation, of course, since analog audio noises are many and... strange

    I had an issue with my sound card and speakers. Whenever I would activate the sound card, my speakers would produce a static noise that was piercing to my ears every time I tried to make music. After several tutorials and seeing mostly positive reviews for this particular device, I purchased it. As soon as I connected it to the sound card, that annoying noise disappeared and my head finally quieted down. Essentially, this device corrects ground loops and properly distributes the current passing through the cables so that the noise is not audible, as the noise essentially originates from the current.
