The L'Arbalete steel frying pan has no coating or toxic chemicals such as PTFE or PFOA. It can be used on all types of cooktops (ceramic, induction, gas, or electric) as well as directly over a fire (for example, in a fireplace or on a camping fire). It is also suitable for cooking or grilling on a gas barbecue.

Before the first use, it needs to be seasoned with vegetable oil, which creates the first non-stick film to prevent food from sticking (seasoning). With use, the L'Arbalete pan becomes increasingly non-stick. It is made of 100% natural materials and is 100% recyclable.

L'Arbalete cookware is designed for those who care more about durability and quality rather than the final finish. L'Arbalete does not place particular emphasis on the final finish (there may be aesthetic imperfections) but solely on the quality of the product's construction.

These products are therefore more environmentally friendly as they avoid the finishing process that wastes precious natural resources such as water and energy. Additionally, their surface darkens with use, turning from silver to brown due to the oil. This is normal and indicates that the necessary non-stick patina has been created.

Steel cookware has a quick response to temperature changes during cooking and is suitable even for heavy professional use. For these reasons, they are used by the top chefs worldwide. Moreover, cooking in steel cookware is much healthier, as they do not contain artificial chemical compounds like Teflon.
