Permatex 12073 lapping compound is a special water-based paste containing Carborundum 100 abrasive grains, with a grain size of 150 μm. It is designed for lapping warped control valves and contains corrosion inhibitors that help prevent oxidation of engine valves.
Apply undiluted with a cloth. It is used to lap the two parts together.
