This Grammar was designed for students as a tool for teaching ancient Greek in the then six-grade Gymnasium.

It was first published with the approval of the Ministry of Education, after a competition in which it was awarded (in 1937), and was continuously published until the mid-1970s.

Thanks to the simplicity of its phrasing and the clarity of its definitions and rules, this Grammar became a reliable guide for teachers and a trustworthy companion for the students who used it.
