Helmos flower honey is harvested by the Soukas family on the slopes of Mount Helmos. It comes from flower nectar and contains pollen grains from many plants. It has a reddish-dark colour and an intense aroma. Enjoy it with yoghurt, oats, drinks, smoothies, desserts and dressings, or use it as a sweetener instead of sugar.
Crystallisation is a natural phenomenon that may occur due to its sugar content. To restore it to its liquid state, gently warm it in a bain-marie with lukewarm water. Store in a cool, shaded place. Not suitable for infants under 12 months.
