The BOYA BY-HM2 is a cardioid handheld microphone, specifically designed for mobile devices.

With the included USB Type-C, USB-A, and Lightning audio cables, it perfectly pairs with most iOS & Android smartphones, tablets, Windows and Mac PCs, etc.
With its cardioid polar pattern, it greatly helps mobile devices focus on the sound in front of the microphone and effectively reduces unwanted ambient noise.

With gain control on both the microphone and the headphone, it allows users to adjust the volume on both, to have the best recording experience according to the recording environment.

It also features a 3/8" to 5/8" adapter for mounting on a mini tripod and microphone stand, which allows users to perform any desktop recordings such as vlogging, live streaming, and music recording, or the microphone can be mounted on any professional microphone stand with a 3/8" or 5/8" threaded plug, ideal for live, speech, and studio use, etc.
