This little book aims to help us reach a more complete and conscious participation in the celebration of the Eucharist.
The small explanations-highlights and the side text (of the same Liturgy!) in spoken Greek hope to lead to a gradual maturation of our relationship with Christ, until we understand that:
a) When someone addresses their father, they do not speak to him in an unknown language (for the child).
b) Today's people will not remain in the Liturgy when the language used in the Worship is incomprehensible.
c) The various verbal prompts that are supposedly understandable (e.g. Peace be unto all, Wisdom, upright, etc.) do not fulfill the need for meaningful and much more personal prayerful reference.
d) This linguistic expression creates an atmosphere of religious service as well as a climate of alienation among today's people, no matter how much we talk about the... beauty of it!
