A woman with an unusual appearance arrives in a village that is being abandoned by its inhabitants due to landslides, chooses an isolated house, and waits for the "other snow." In this setting of abandonment, the woman will be drawn into unexpected adventures, spiraling through places both familiar and unexplored in her existence.
She will meet a great and angry poet who is also hiding, she will be as cold as a statue at an unexpected wedding a la Kusturica, and she will find herself with the "fragments" of the old commune, Rothko, Caesar, and the enigmatic Esthir. However, none of them will exert the decisive influence on her that Snow White does, as she names a silent girl brought by the snowstorm.
An enigmatic and simultaneously redemptive novel, full of compassion but also many questions. Is love ultimately the greatest illusion? Or perhaps the highest purpose?
