    I use it both for gaming and multitasking applications.

    The following were running simultaneously:
    2 browsers open along with a couple of PDFs in Windows, a VM running Linux on the 4 cores with a browser running within the VM, a Gazebo simulator, ROS operating system for simulators, and 4 consoles, and all this without any hint of struggling!!

    Now I zip and unzip large files extremely fast, the time to install programs in combination with an SSD is ridiculous, gaming in combination with RTX3080 simply runs everything without bottleneck, it also does video editing with great ease.

    It never got stuck anywhere. It devours any program you run.

    Overclocking is currently unnecessary. I haven't dealt with temperatures because I have an Arctic Freezer 34 eSports and it doesn't feel it. If you put in an ultra low budget cooler, you might have an issue.

    There is no better value for money in its category. I play Red Dead Redemption 2 and Metro Exodus in combination with a 1070ti, and the bottleneck is the graphics card. It reaches a maximum of 40 percent and the temperature with a Cooler Master beast is around 45-50 degrees Celsius at maximum. I highly recommend it. I have it on Windows 11.

    I would upgrade from the 2009 Intel to this one anyway, but I can say that it is the best value for money currently available in the market. I have paired it with a 1650 4gb and 16gb of RAM, with the stock cooler, and it runs great. The temperatures are also satisfactory, and compared to other more expensive processors, I can say that it is worth its money.

    Very impressive processor even though I didn't push it too hard. I don't play games but I do music production, photo editing, occasional video editing, multitasking, and programming. I have an Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Duo cooler, and it only reached 48 degrees during video editing, but after extended use, it stays comfortable for everything else. I also don't have a graphics card due to the skyrocketing prices. I highly recommend it for those who want to do simple tasks like the ones mentioned above.

    Very good processor, it does its job perfectly but one thing, if you use it for gaming, most games use single-threaded performance and the processor has 12 threads, so if you see it using around 15%-30%, don't worry.

    5 out of 5 and it's worth more than Ryzen at these prices. Those who manage to get this one and the rest of the i5s should buy it, it works satisfactorily especially at 210€. First purchase i5 10400f but since it went into another system, I went with this one. As it is unlocked and with a b460m (from asrock but other brands have no issue), I reached 5.1ghz at full load, now I haven't tried higher and it doesn't even need to be overclocked, just needs a cooler since it's unlocked and you have to choose a cooler yourself, I got a nice 120mm AIO from NZXT, the Kraken M22, single fan because I don't have space in the case for a double (and more money -_-). And to answer a guy below who criticized the cooler, my friend Intel hasn't been including coolers with their k processors for years to avoid damage in case of overclocking. I highly recommend it for a price up to 210€, maybe 220€, if you go higher, go for the 10700 which is much better at 250€

    5 out of 5 on mom intel I burn the processor every day I play 10 hours ++ I do editing I do miming I cool it with a be quite pure loop 240 and it reaches a maximum of 60 degrees with 15 hours of non-stop use per day! Take it fearlessly, it doesn't hesitate one bit!

    It covered me just fine. With MSI Z490 Unify and Noctua NH-D15S, I managed to reach 4.8 GHz on all cores, without AVX offset, at 1.22 volts (override mode), LLC 4, ring 46. Stable after hours of Prime95 and OCCT testing.
    With AVX offset -1, it could reach 4.9 GHz with a little more voltage, but I think the AVX offset doesn't make much sense because most applications (including Far Cry New Dawn that I tested) use AVX, and it rarely reaches 4.9 GHz.

    I would upgrade from the 2009 Intel to this one anyway, but I can say that it is the best value for money currently available in the market. I have paired it with a 1650 4gb and 16gb of RAM, with the stock cooler, and it runs great. The temperatures are also satisfactory, and compared to other more expensive processors, I can say that it is worth its money.

    Very impressive processor even though I didn't push it too hard. I don't play games but I do music production, photo editing, occasional video editing, multitasking, and programming. I have an Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Duo cooler, and it only reached 48 degrees during video editing, but after extended use, it stays comfortable for everything else. I also don't have a graphics card due to the skyrocketing prices. I highly recommend it for those who want to do simple tasks like the ones mentioned above.

    Very good processor, it does its job perfectly but one thing, if you use it for gaming, most games use single-threaded performance and the processor has 12 threads, so if you see it using around 15%-30%, don't worry.

    5 out of 5 and it's worth more than Ryzen at these prices. Those who manage to get this one and the rest of the i5s should buy it, it works satisfactorily especially at 210€. First purchase i5 10400f but since it went into another system, I went with this one. As it is unlocked and with a b460m (from asrock but other brands have no issue), I reached 5.1ghz at full load, now I haven't tried higher and it doesn't even need to be overclocked, just needs a cooler since it's unlocked and you have to choose a cooler yourself, I got a nice 120mm AIO from NZXT, the Kraken M22, single fan because I don't have space in the case for a double (and more money -_-). And to answer a guy below who criticized the cooler, my friend Intel hasn't been including coolers with their k processors for years to avoid damage in case of overclocking. I highly recommend it for a price up to 210€, maybe 220€, if you go higher, go for the 10700 which is much better at 250€

    5 out of 5 on mom intel I burn the processor every day I play 10 hours ++ I do editing I do miming I cool it with a be quite pure loop 240 and it reaches a maximum of 60 degrees with 15 hours of non-stop use per day! Take it fearlessly, it doesn't hesitate one bit!

    It covered me just fine. With MSI Z490 Unify and Noctua NH-D15S, I managed to reach 4.8 GHz on all cores, without AVX offset, at 1.22 volts (override mode), LLC 4, ring 46. Stable after hours of Prime95 and OCCT testing.
    With AVX offset -1, it could reach 4.9 GHz with a little more voltage, but I think the AVX offset doesn't make much sense because most applications (including Far Cry New Dawn that I tested) use AVX, and it rarely reaches 4.9 GHz.

    I use it both for gaming and multitasking applications.

    The following were running simultaneously:
    2 browsers open along with a couple of PDFs in Windows, a VM running Linux on the 4 cores with a browser running within the VM, a Gazebo simulator, ROS operating system for simulators, and 4 consoles, and all this without any hint of struggling!!

    Now I zip and unzip large files extremely fast, the time to install programs in combination with an SSD is ridiculous, gaming in combination with RTX3080 simply runs everything without bottleneck, it also does video editing with great ease.

    It never got stuck anywhere. It devours any program you run.

    Overclocking is currently unnecessary. I haven't dealt with temperatures because I have an Arctic Freezer 34 eSports and it doesn't feel it. If you put in an ultra low budget cooler, you might have an issue.

    There is no better value for money in its category. I play Red Dead Redemption 2 and Metro Exodus in combination with a 1070ti, and the bottleneck is the graphics card. It reaches a maximum of 40 percent and the temperature with a Cooler Master beast is around 45-50 degrees Celsius at maximum. I highly recommend it. I have it on Windows 11.
