For years I was hanging a trap on every tree and never had a problem with insects... As you can see in the first photo, the column has caught a variety of insects, including beetles. However, something is not going well in recent years... Last year I bought 6 columns (from a well-known store in Athens, also represented on skroutz) of which one did not catch a single insect, the others were filled (photo 1). This year, I bought 3 columns from a store in Trikala (two of the older design, one of the newer with the rotating top part) - and all three did not catch anything (photo 2)... Either they forgot to put attractive bait inside or some other mistake...
Για χρόνια κρεμούσα από μία παγίδα σε κάθε δέντρο και δεν είχα ποτέ πρόβλημα με δάκο... Όπως μπορείτε να δείτε στην πρώτη φωτογραφία, στην στήλη έχει κολλήσει πλήθος εντόμων, μεταξύ αυτών και δάκος. Τα τελευταία όμως χρόνια κάτι δεν πάει καλά... Πέρυσι αγόρασα 6 στήλες (από γνωστό κατάστημα της Αθήνας, που εκπροσωπείται και στο skroutz) από τις οποίες η μία δεν έπιασε ούτε ένα έντομο, οι άλλες γέμισαν (φωτ. 1). Φέτος, αγόρασα 3 στήλες από κατάστημα των Τρικάλων (οι δύο της παλιότερης σχεδίασης, η μία της νεότερης με το περιστρεφόμενο πάνω τμήμα) - και οι τρεις δεν πιάσανε τίποτε (φωτ. 2)... Είτε ξεχάσανε να βάλουνε μέσα προσελκυστικό τροφής είτε κάποιο άλλο λάθος...
It was an old model (stock) ..... last year I bought a newer one from a store (it is shorter and wider and the holes open when you rotate it)
