Vitex Metal Primer is a solvent-based product formulated with alkyd resins, designed to prepare metal surfaces. It is used as a primer before applying enamel paints and provides anti-rust protection. It is touch-dry in 45–60 minutes and can be recoated after 20–24 hours.
Apply one or two coats with a roller or brush, thinning by 5% with Brush Thinner T 300, or with an airless spray gun, thinning by 5% with Spray Gun Thinner T 350. Before application, the surface must be clean, dry, smooth and sanded, free of dust and oils. Once fully dry, sand with sandpaper and remove the dust.
