    Disappointing, I don't know if it works on rust because it is an anti-rust product, but I passed it on the small fence about 5-6 times with this product. I had bought the brown color and it took one coat with it and two coats with the black one, maybe it needs a third coat because the black one hasn't covered it exactly. Luckily, I didn't use it on the other fences. Now, beyond that, I don't know what job it does as an anti-rust product.

Description & Specifications

Vitex Anti-Rust Primer is designed for indoor and outdoor metal surfaces and serves as a primer for the topcoat. It is based on modified alkyd resins and is touch-dry in 45–60 minutes.

Apply with a roller, brush or spray gun in one or two coats. The surface must be dry, smooth, free from dust and oil, and sanded with suitable sandpaper. Before application, thin by up to 5% with T300 brush thinner for use with a roller or brush, or with T350 spray thinner for use with a spray gun.

After 20–24 hours, once fully dry, sand the surface and remove any dust before applying the topcoat. Apply at a temperature of 5–35°C and relative humidity below 80%.
