    Disappointing, I don't know if it works on rust because it is an anti-rust product, but I passed it on the small fence about 5-6 times with this product. I had bought the brown color and it took one coat with it and two coats with the black one, maybe it needs a third coat because the black one hasn't covered it exactly. Luckily, I didn't use it on the other fences. Now, beyond that, I don't know what job it does as an anti-rust product.

Description & Specifications

The brown Vitex Anti-Rust Primer dries quickly and is designed for metal surfaces as a primer coat beneath the finish paint. Its formula is based on a combination of modified alkyd resins and provides anti-corrosion protection.

It can be applied to interior and exterior surfaces using a roller, brush or spray gun, in one or two coats. The surface must be dry, smooth, clean and free of dust and oil, and sanded with suitable sandpaper. Thin the primer by up to 5% with T300 for roller or brush application, or with T350 for spray-gun application.
