Vitex Hyroof Primer Hybrid PU hybrid polyurethane primer penetrates surfaces, waterproofs them and stabilizes them. It can be applied to new surfaces or to existing surfaces with a pre-existing waterproofing layer, and adheres to concrete, bituminous membranes, cement boards, and acrylic or polyurethane coatings. It is lightly tinted to make primed areas visible and has a very low volatile organic compound content.
Before application, surfaces must be clean, dry and smooth, and free of dust or loose material. Stir the product thoroughly and apply undiluted in a single coat using a roller, paintbrush, brush, pad applicator or airless spray gun. It is touch-dry in 45 minutes and can be recoated after 2–3 hours with HyRoof Hybrid PU roof waterproofing coating. Drying times vary depending on temperature and relative humidity. Clean tools immediately after use with water and, if necessary, soap or detergent.
