The package includes batteries. I had a similar Buerer scale with flat batteries. The display on this model is larger and illuminated, so unlike the other model you can easily see the measurement regardless of lighting. The first measurement is incorrect as others have commented, but since the scale is activated as soon as you insert the batteries, when you turn it over and place it where you want, the mechanism gets disoriented. Repeated measurements in a row (same day) had the expected error (+/-0.1 kg).
From day to day, it is expected that there will be variation due to biological differences, and a difference of a glass of water (+/-0.2 kg) is reasonable. Along with the error given by the manufacturer, the total error in this case is +/-0.3 kg. In the first days, I did observe this, but later there were 2 times when within a single day the value changed by 1 kg, without anything special happening in between. I would say that after a few weeks of use, the difference in measurements on different days is more in the range of +/-0.5 kg, not more. So I rate it with 4 stars because the accuracy of the measurements is less than I expected—there shouldn't be 2 outliers within a few weeks. It is definitely more accurate in measurements than the other scale from the same company that I had.

I would say that after a few weeks of use, the difference in measurements on different days is more in the range of +/-0.5 kg, not more. So I rate it with 4 stars because the accuracy of the measurements is less than I expected—there shouldn't be 2 outliers within a few weeks. It is definitely more accurate in measurements than the other scale from the same company that I had.

Η οθόνη σε αυτό το μοντέλο είναι μεγαλύτερη και φωτιζόμενη οπότε σε αντίθεση με το άλλο μοντέλο μπορείς άνετα να δεις την μέτρηση ασχέτως φωτισμού. Η πρώτη μέτρηση είναι λάθος όπως έχουν σχολιάσει και άλλοι, αλλά εφόσον η ζυγαριά ενεργοποιείται μόλις βάλεις τις μπαταρίες, για να την αναποδογυρίσεις και να την τοποθετήσεις στην θέση που θες αποσυντονίζεται ο μηχανισμός. Επαναλαμβανόμενες μετρήσεις στην σειρά (ίδια μέρα), είχαν το προβλεπόμενο σφάλμα (+/-0.1 κιλά).
Από μέρα σε μέρα είναι αναμενόμενο να υπάρχει διακύμανση εξαιτίας βιολογικών διαφορών και διαφορά ενός ποτηριού νερού (+/-0.2 κιλά) είναι λογική. Μαζί με το σφάλμα που δίνει ο κατασκευαστής, το συνολικό σφάλμα σε αυτή την περίπτωση είναι +/-0.3 κιλά. Τις πρώτες μέρες όντως παρατηρούσα αυτό το πράγμα, αργότερα όμως υπήρξαν 2 φορές που μέσα σε μια μέρα άλλαξε η τιμή κατά 1 κιλό, χωρίς να έχει μεσολαβήσει κάτι ιδιαίτερο. 4 weigh-ins at the same time, 4 different numbers with a big difference. At first it worked well. After 3-4 weeks it started showing random numbers. At some point I stepped on and it showed 15 whole kilos less than my actual weight! I stepped on again and it showed my normal weight again

As soon as I took it out of the box and put in the batteries, it started weighing by itself without anyone stepping on it. When I stepped on it, it displayed a message that the limits (of 200 kilos) were exceeded. Meanwhile, I weigh 95 kilos. Then, when I leaned back a little, it started measuring but the numbers kept going up and down without stopping anywhere.
Με το που την έβγαλα απ το κουτί της και έβαλα τις μπαταρίες ζύγιζε μόνη της χωρίς να ανέβει κάποιος. Οταν ανέβηκα έβγαλε μήνυμα ότι υπερέβησαν τα όρια (των 200 κιλών) . Εγώ εντωμεταξύ είμαι 95 κιλά. Μετά όταν έγειρα λίγο πίσω άρχισε να μετράει αλλά ανεβοκατέβαιναν οι αριθμοί χωρίς να σταματάει πουθενά.

The package includes batteries. I had a similar Buerer scale with flat batteries. The display on this model is larger and illuminated, so unlike the other model you can easily see the measurement regardless of lighting. The first measurement is incorrect as others have commented, but since the scale is activated as soon as you insert the batteries, when you turn it over and place it where you want, the mechanism gets disoriented. Repeated measurements in a row (same day) had the expected error (+/-0.1 kg).
From day to day, it is expected that there will be variation due to biological differences, and a difference of a glass of water (+/-0.2 kg) is reasonable. Along with the error given by the manufacturer, the total error in this case is +/-0.3 kg.
