Isomat Uni-Primer acrylic primer is water-based and is applied to porous substrates such as concrete, brickwork, plaster, plasterboard and particleboard. It penetrates the pores and stabilises the surface, creating a bonding layer for water-based paints, tile adhesives, flexible mortars and liquid-applied elastomeric coatings.
It is also used to stabilise friable surfaces and reduce the absorbency of plasterboard or particleboard before applying tile adhesive, waterproofing mortar or a liquid-applied elastomeric waterproofing coating. Suitable for interior and exterior surfaces. Apply to a dry, clean substrate with a brush, roller or spray before painting.
