Isomat Flex-Primer acrylic water-based primer stabilizes porous and friable surfaces and acts as a bonding layer for water-based paints, tile adhesives, flexible mortars, and acrylic renders. It penetrates the pores of the substrate and helps improve the adhesion of subsequently applied materials. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
It can be applied to concrete, brickwork, render, plasterboard, and particleboard. On plasterboard and particleboard, it also helps reduce absorbency before applying tile adhesive, flexible waterproofing mortar, or brush-applied elastomeric waterproofing coatings. Before use, the surface must be dry and free of dust, grease, and contaminants. Stir the primer thoroughly and apply evenly with a brush, roller, or sprayer.
