It definitely has nothing to do with the original.. after two uses the plastic part that adjusts the tube length broke.. if nothing else breaks it's worth its money compared to the unaffordable price of the Miele..
The hose is flawless. Much lighter than the original Miele one. It fits perfectly on the Miele S5510. If it doesn't fit well and the nozzle comes off while vacuuming, just press a little with a screwdriver on the black notch at the end of the hose to make the nozzle fit deeper. See the photo where I've circled the point.
Hesitant at first due to the no-name brand, but believe me, the quality is the same as the original hose that costs 70 euros, which is a third of the value of my Miele C3 vacuum cleaner. And the locking mechanism is even better, it won't easily break. The telescopic mechanism is unacceptable for a vacuum cleaner that costs 250 euros, it shouldn't break in just one year. For less than 20 euros, I am very satisfied. It is compatible with almost all Miele vacuum cleaners
I have it just a few months, I use it once a week, so not much. It has already been damaged and does not lock in the various height positions it has. It also does not fit properly on the original parts so that it remains locked in place, resulting in the foot of the broom staying under furniture.
It's fine with the difference that I attach it upside down, otherwise the diameter doesn't fit in the bottom part of the vacuum cleaner, but it's okay as long as it works!
