Chrotech Primex Micro primer is a micronized, silicone-modified acrylic water-based primer for preparing interior and exterior masonry surfaces. It penetrates pores and stabilizes friable and porous surfaces, as well as old coatings such as distemper and limewash. Its slightly yellow tint makes it easier to identify treated areas and check coverage.
Apply with a roller or brush to plaster, cement, bricks, plasterboard and gypsum. It is alkali-resistant and prevents salts in the masonry from migrating into the topcoat, while promoting adhesion of acrylic, emulsion and cement paints. It dries in 50±10 minutes and can be diluted with water by up to 50% by volume.
