For making cold brew, it's just fine. However, don't use it to make hot tea. It can't withstand high temperatures. Mine started leaking black liquid at the joint, which means it's not suitable for tea, as stated in the description. In my case, a waste of money.

You can definitely make coffee without it using quality materials, but it is quite useful for filter coffee with an excellent thermos

The same job could be done with a Do-it-yourself project based on a French press filter immersed in a water container, but this particular one is aesthetically pleasing, practical, with good quality materials. Regarding coffee production, there are many recipes on the internet, but so far I have used the one suggested by the manufacturer in the instructions, and I am satisfied. It is important to find the right grind, but the easiest way is to go to a coffee brewery (physical or online store) and ask for coffee specifically ground for cold brew, otherwise it requires a relatively coarse grind and a fairly aromatic coffee. In about 18-20 hours in a cool environment, you will have a very nice cold brew coffee.

Good coffee, the variety of espresso also matters. Easy preparation. The coffee retains its aroma and taste. Tastier coffee than capsules, at least in its cold version. I recommend it to coffee lovers!

As equipment for the home, it is ideal! Everything in one. Request a type of "filter" cut at the well-known coffee shops and do your experiments to find the blend that suits you best. There are no leaks during extraction and the coffee storage container is very convenient. I am very satisfied with the 50€ I spent, I don't think there will be anything better. I am a barista and I really wanted to have my own cold brew at home. There are instructions in the box, but you will need to do several experiments to find the ideal amount of water and coffee, and if you are passionate about the profession, a small scale will help a lot for the ideal homemade cold brew. If you are wondering how long the coffee lasts in the refrigerator, one week is the recommended shelf life for this type of coffee in order to not lose the flavors and overall quality.
